From the beginning, Steckley Designs primarily focused on catering its services to private schools in the South Florida area. Being a proof-only model, it became challenging when they started shifting their business online, and they quickly ran into issues with their eCommerce provider. One of the significant pitfalls they began facing was their inability to satisfy all their purchasers’ needs while using their current platform. As a result, Steckley’s began searching for a new provider, understanding the importance of having happy customers, and their lab, Full Color, introduced them to Fotomerchant (thank you).
Growing an Online Platform
After introductions, meetings, and then pushing through the growing pains of moving to a new platform, including a new lab integration, Steckley’s was up and running on Commerce and eager to begin producing more happy customers.

Steckley’s solely utilizes Commerce, but they continue to improve their workflow by taking advantage of our latest features, such as our automated marketing campaigns led by our marketing department and our timeline feature, which gives them the opportunity to re-market photos from previous years. Doing so has allowed them to become more efficient each season, contributing to increased revenue and decreased labor costs. In fact, in their first three years with us, their average order sales increase is over 25%.
