Today marks a very special day for Fotomerchant (and me) as we announce our acquisition of ELEMENTICE™ – a world-class photography-tech company.
This acquisition is a significant one for Fotomerchant and you.
Our mission is to create a workflow without the work and make things better and faster for you. And to do this, we knew that the workflow tools utilized by studios involved both software and hardware. If we were going to make significant improvements to workflow, we needed to control and improve more parts of it, hence our initial foray into developing a capture solution.
For the last few years, we’ve been working collaboratively with the ELEMENTICE team on developing the Fotomerchant Capture solution. If you haven’t already, check out the overview video below.
We’ve put this hardware through its paces and developed the solution along the way to be fit-for-purpose for volume studios, especially in the school environment. We’ve listened to the pain points of our customers and shaped our capture solution around this. Today, there are studios worldwide using Fotomerchant’s Capture solution to power their picture day with more launching each day. And what’s exciting is that this is just the beginning. This acquisition means we can bring more innovation to the start of your workflow. Fotomerchant will provide you with a truly integrated hardware and software solution that scales with your requirements. From capture to commerce, we will continue to help you make your workflow better & faster.
And speaking of commerce, this announcement marks the second acquisition for Fotomerchant after we acquired eCommerce provider SimplePhoto earlier this year. I’m incredibly proud of how far we’ve come and the hard work across the entire team. We’ve already been busy bringing teams together and shaping the next iteration of workflow innovation together, and with the addition of the ELEMENTICE team to Fotomerchant, the future only looks brighter.
